Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: May 12, 2026
Mango is a DBA of Lifecycle Innovations Limited, operating through Healify USA LLC as Stripe Merchant of Record. Registered address: 111 NE 1st St STE 89079, Miami FL 33132, USA. Support: support@mango.talk.
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out what is and isn't allowed on the Mango network. It applies to all subscribers, regardless of plan type. By activating a Mango eSIM you agree to these rules.
1. Permitted use
Mango plans are designed for:
- Personal mobile internet access while traveling.
- Standard smartphone activities: web browsing, streaming, video calls, messaging, navigation, and remote work.
- Mobile hotspot / tethering for your own personal devices (laptop, tablet) — counted against your fair-use threshold.
2. Fair-use threshold
“Unlimited” means you are never cut off. It does not mean there are no limits on high-speed usage. Each plan has a fair-use threshold (shown at checkout). After you cross it:
- Speeds are reduced, not suspended. You can still message, navigate, and browse.
- Throttle depth is typically 512 kbps downstream. Some carrier zones may allow up to 1 Mbps at their discretion.
- Speed may reset automatically within 24 hours. If it doesn't, contact support.
The throttle-not-cutoff model is a core Mango commitment. We will not remove it.
3. Prohibited uses
The following uses are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate plan suspension without refund:
3.1 Commercial resale
- Reselling data access or eSIM profiles to third parties.
- Sharing your QR code with anyone other than your own additional personal device (if supported by the plan).
- Operating a commercial Wi-Fi hotspot business using a Mango plan.
3.2 Spam & abuse
- Sending bulk or automated SMS, email, or messaging app messages.
- Running botnets, credential-stuffing, or scraping operations.
- Port-scanning, denial-of-service attacks, or network probing.
- Phishing, fraud, or impersonation of any person or entity.
3.3 Machine-to-machine (M2M) & IoT
- Using a consumer eSIM plan in a dedicated IoT device, vehicle telematics unit, vending machine, or similar M2M application at scale.
- Automated data transfer exceeding normal personal usage patterns (e.g., continuous 24/7 upload/download at maximum speed).
3.4 Illegal content & activity
- Accessing, transmitting, or storing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Distributing malware, ransomware, or other malicious software.
- Any activity illegal under applicable law.
3.5 Sanctions compliance
Mango complies with US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions programs. Plans may not be used in, or to access services based in, countries subject to comprehensive US sanctions, which currently include:
- Cuba
- Iran
- North Korea
- Russia (in sanctioned sectors)
- Syria
- The Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine
This list reflects the OFAC sanctions list as of the effective date above. Check the current list at ofac.treasury.gov before travel.
4. Enforcement
We monitor aggregate network behavior (not content) to detect AUP violations. If we detect a violation:
- First instance (non-malicious): we may throttle or temporarily suspend the plan and notify you by email.
- Repeated or malicious violations: immediate termination of the plan and account, no refund.
- Illegal activity: we will cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
5. Reporting violations
If you believe someone is misusing the Mango network, report it to support@mango.talk. We investigate all credible reports.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP to reflect changes in our network, legal requirements, or platform capabilities. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance via email or site notice.
